This library is now available in 4 sample rates- 44.1khz, 48khz, 88.2khz, and 96khz.
A recent skin update now allows for switching between the lite, and full options, as well as all the variations, for both Nebula 3 and 4.
The meticulously sampled and reproduced damper control ensures that you will have the smooth and natural dampening effect you would have with the hardware, and lush stereo reverb for days.
As with many of my reverbs, this one is more complex by design compared to typical Nebula reverb programs (having a sampled control inside a reverb instantly makes everything more complex), so you’re going to want a fairly recent CPU and decent amount of RAM to get the best out of these programs.
There is also a bonus reverb which used a sampling process I came up with that I usually refer to as ‘bionic’. The sampling tones are ran through the hardware at faster and slower speeds than normal, giving higher and lower pitched frequency responses than normal, and also faster and slower reverb reactions. 3 different speeds were used to create these 3 alternate ‘what if’ reverbs and they are all contained inside one program, allowing you to select whichever one you want without having to load another program to hear the next one. Try these out if you ever want something a little different from the main program!
Last but not least, this library comes with excellent custom skins by Max Ponomaryov, aka azzimov! There are skins for both N3 and N4.
Here’s a video demo by Max. The first part of the video shows the main reverb but using an older version of the N4 skin which didn’t have the program select buttons. A synth doing a little melody. First you hear it dry, then several more times, starting with the damp control set at fully damp, and each one getting a little less dampened, resulting in more reverb as it goes on, until it becomes fully un-dampened.
Next is a wah guitar, first dry then you hear it with the reverb, and the damp control is automated to fade from open to fully damped across the performance.
Another guitar, dry then wet, damp control automated same way as last time.
Another guitar, same deal as before. the reverb doesn't come in until 42 seconds in on this one.
Male vocal.
Same synth as in the first clip above, but the next 3 clips are using the bonus 'bionic' reverbs. The first one uses #1, 2nd #2, etc, and all start with the dry synth. then there are wet repetitions starting with the fade control set to provide no added fade-out, and then repeats with progressively more of the fade-out added.
This one goes through some drum sounds from a Battery drumkit, first dry, then you hear them with the main reverb program, once with the damp control mostly open (but not fully), then again with it close to fully dampened.
