Product Description
This library is available in 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96khz sample rates (you get all 4 sample rates when purchasing).
Various sources of reverb/delay effects were fused with the tone qualities of the cassette format. These are custom made, and each one had cassette tape somewhere in the sampled signal path. 7 unique reverbs were sculpted from various sources and using various software and unusual old hardware like an old tube amp from a radio/record console. Feedback loops with the tape in the path were sometimes used to enhance the effect of the tape, and help bring all of the verb/delay elements together. The main idea here was to try to create ‘tapey’ sounding reverbs, if that makes any sense.
Each of these effects were sampled in stereo. These effects are dynamic, and do sound different at different signal levels. Originally I created 7 reverbs, but now (5 years later), I’ve created bonus alternate versions of each one. These new alternate versions are usually subtly different but they provide you some more variety.
Last but not least, this library comes with excellent custom skins by Max Ponomaryov, aka azzimov! (Check out his facebook group here) The skins allow switching between all programs in both N3 and N4!
Here’s a video, also made by Max, showing off his excellent skin, and all of the reverbs:

Beautiful! What reverb(s) did you use? Perfect for background vocals.
Tim –
all of the reverbs from the set (except the newer alternate versions) are used on the clip.

” to create ‘tapey’ sounding reverbs, if that makes any sense” – sure does to me and sounds stunningly velvety beautiful! I came upon your site while debating whether to borrow money for a hardware AKG BX 20 and found the audio samples of your Bee X 20 so gorgeous, full of vibe and dimensionality, as opposed to the UAD emulation which sounds totally flat/2d in comparison, which makes it unusuable as realistic substitute for the hardware, especially for vocals, it’s more like a nice bumber sticker while yours here is alivening and enrichening big time – no wonder you’re not scared to post vocal samples! Huuge… and reason enough to join Nebula… alas to also discovering Nolard 555 – wow! (blood sweat and tears and my buddies 201 still not running) – and now all your tape and tube reverbs/effects is a mindblower… love the new ideas/procedures…
Did you ever consider bundles, like all reverbs etc, and one of the whole treasure trove? Cause once I got Nebula set up and figured out… Many thanks and congratulations!
